Using Mozart time, 1+3+6 to move in the direction of 6/3/3!!
What is this guy talking about?
Well, as you know I am a massive believer in the power of stillness to enable me (& you) to think in a relaxed state. I call it Mozart time - you call it what you want. Just schedule it and do it (repeatedly). One of the prime functions of my Mozart time has been to find clarity of the life we want to live.
We have created a desired future state: a life with time and financial freedom, a life lived with purpose, passion and intent.
This desired future state is captured as 6/3/3. In essence, we live on Australia’s Gold Coast for 6 months a year, in the UK for 3 months a year and then travel where we want & how we want for the remaining 3 months.
Every decision we make is measured against 6/3/3 - do we believe what we are going to do is moving us in the direction of 6/3/3 or not?
How is this playing out? Here are some of the actions to enable us to live this 6/3/3 life:
Building a vibrant UK business to support the first 3
Executing on Project Soar to enable the 2nd 3. This is a series of 7 projects designed to create ‘beach/sleep income’ - income streams that are not dependent on me being on my feet physically delivering content. Examples:
Enhancing and republishing the #whatwinnersdo journal
Publishing the 1st pack of 63 Mozart time playing cards
Completing and publishing my 2nd book
Publishing the ‘Less Busy, More Brilliant’ series of winning guides
Buying an apartment & selling the house so we can lock it and leave it for 6 months a year. This also involves clearing the clutter which is an awesome exercise in itself.
Starting to work in Singapore as this is our preferred route from Aus to the UK.
Why share?
I want to evidence the power of stillness, the power of clarity and the motivating/energising force of having a very clear vision or goal.
I want to encourage you to take the time to do the same. We only get one shot at life, so why not live it to the full, follow your dreams and passions and ‘play your own music.’
I want to encourage you to read or reread The Rocking Chair Test - it will provide a raodmap and so many tools to help you on your journey to your own version of 6/3/3.
