Jack Welch's 8 point leadership perspective!
Last week I spoke about 6/3/3.
One element is downsizing from our beautiful property to a stunning new apartment, overlooking the ocean. (As an aside, when I reread my early journal entries and look at photos I cut out of magazines regarding my ideal property……….wow! From dream to reality)
To downsize, I need to radically cutback on my business book collection - only 31 are going to make it to the apartment. I am reading like crazy, at any available moment, learning lots & actually feeling ever more confident about my own contribution in this space.
My current read is Winning by the late Jack Welch, the legendary CEO of GEO, with Suzy Welch. I thought it would be dated and a quick decision to add it to the charity shop pile. However, it is full of gems.
